Saturday evening, the gendarmes of Plourin-les-Morlaix were on the alert.

A farmer had alerted them in the afternoon about the organization of a rave party in a field in Saint-Thégonnec-Loc-Eguiner (Finistère).

When they arrived at the scene, they found nothing abnormal.

But by continuing their research, in particular with the help of a helicopter dispatched from Rennes, they discovered that a hundred people had gathered during a festive evening in this same town, tell Le Télégramme and France Bleu Breizh Izel.

In a private estate, near an isolated house, 150 to 200 individuals had gathered, mainly outside, or in a shed.

It was "not a rave-party", specified the gendarmes to France Bleu, but rather "a fair" mixing all the generations.

Events had been organized and a music group had even traveled from Brest to give a concert.

The organizers will be heard by the gendarmes

Only five people were fined for not respecting the curfew because they had stepped on the public road.

The others, who had remained in the private area, did not receive a fine.

The Brest prosecutor's office has however decided to open an investigation, in particular for endangering the lives of others, notes the local radio.

The organizers of the evening must be heard in the coming days by the gendarmes.

Gatherings of more than six people are not allowed in public space until May 19.

From this date, it will be possible to meet up to ten individuals maximum.

The curfew, in effect from 7 p.m. today, will be relaxed and will begin at 9 p.m.
