The big winner of Eurovision 2021 is Italy, after the rock band Monskin won the competition with the song "Zitti e buoni".

Eden Elena finished in 17th place, close to what the betting agencies predicted, despite an excellent performance, after receiving 20 disappointing points from the crowd.

France came in second and Switzerland in third.

Iceland took fourth place, followed by Ukraine in fifth place.

In the judges' votes, Israel was ranked 12th.

Switzerland led the judging teams with 267. The Israeli judging panel gave 12 points to Switzerland, 10 points to Lithuania, 8 points to France, 7 to Russia, 6 to Belgium, 5 to Malta, 4 to Ukraine 3 to Cyprus, 2 to Azerbaijan and one point to Bulgaria.

However, the crowd that voted at home gave Israel a relatively low score, bringing the victory to Italy.

Alongside this, an interesting statistic was recorded: the first three places in the competition came from songs performed in the language of the sending country and not in English.

A different history was recorded when four countries that automatically qualified for the final received zero points from the crowd - Germany, Spain, the Netherlands and the UK - which also finished with zero points at the weight of the crowd and the judges.

Four countries that get zero from the crowd is a record that is unmatched in the competition.
