During the Eurovision final on Saturday night, right in front of the cameras, the lead singer of the Italian band Manskin was seen leaning over the table in a movement that simulated a snort of cocaine.

During the Eurovision final yesterday (Saturday night) came a moment that left many viewers wondering and confused: Damiano, lead singer of the Italian band Menxin, who won at the end of the evening, was seen leaning for a moment over the table in a movement that looked like he was from a cocaine branch.
He immediately got up back, and seemed to do so as his bandmate to his right rubbed him with a hint to do so.
The piece went viral on social media - many wondered if the singer did make a cook and demanded a drug test, others thought it was something innocent and that he was trying to look at his phone without glasses.

Later at the press conference after the win, Damiano was asked about it.
"There was a moment during the broadcast where you were seen in the background and you seemed to be branching off, and people on the network thought you were taking cocaine. What was that?"
Damiano's explanation was a bit strange.
He pointed to his bandmate and said, "Thomas broke a glass. I'm not doing drugs, please, friends, don 't say that, really."
Damiano was also later asked by one of the reporters if he had used cocaine, and responded that he knew it looked like that, but swore it was not what happened and that he had never done drugs.
