At least 30 people were killed and dozens injured in a train crash in southern Pakistan on Monday, police reported.
According to a Pakistan Railways official, the train arriving from Karachi derailed near Daharki, in northern Sindh province, before being struck by another oncoming train.
Umar Tufail, a Daharki police official, reported an initial confirmed toll of at least 30 dead in the crash.
The derailed Millat Express connects the large port of Karachi to Sargodha.

"Several people have been killed and many others are still trapped inside," the head of Pakistan Railways told AFP, adding that relief was at work on the spot.
Live footage from cell phones shows a tangle of metal debris and several overturned green Pakistan Railways cars.

Rail accidents are common in Pakistan, which inherited thousands of miles of track and trains from colonial times, under the British Empire.
But the network suffers from decades of neglect due to corruption, mismanagement and lack of investment.
