An adult and an infant were killed Thursday by a person who then took his own life, in a supermarket in Florida.
The shootings took place at a Publix supermarket in the Municipality of Royal Palm Beach, 130 km north of Miami, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said.
"Upon arrival, officers found three individuals who died from gunshot wounds," police wrote on Twitter.
“An adult man, an adult woman and a child.
The assailant is among the dead, ”it is listed without knowing which individual carried the shots.
Several killings in recent days in Florida
The security forces cordoned off the area and did not provide any further information immediately, except that it was no longer an "active shooter" situation.
This drama comes after a series of recent mass killings that have struck South Florida in recent days.
On Sunday night, a shooting at a party after graduation left three dead and five injured in Miami.
On June 1, three assailants killed two people and injured 21 others after opening fire outside a nightclub in Hialeah, a town in Miami-Dade County.
And on May 30, two people were killed and at least 20 were injured when three men "shot at the crowd" outside a concert hall in Miami.
In early February, two police officers were killed and three others shot and wounded during a response to a child abuse case that sparked a shooting in a city in southeast Florida.
