On arrival, the figure of conspiratorial circles will be transferred "immediately to Nancy with a view to his indictment".

French justice is ready to welcome Rémy Daillet-Wiedmann, figure of conspiratorial circles suspected of being involved in the kidnapping of little Mia.

The latter and his family left Singapore on Tuesday aboard an Air France flight expected Wednesday morning in Paris, according to the Nancy prosecutor.

“I can confirm to you that [he] took a plane from Singapore to France.

He is accompanied by his partner and the couple's children, ”François Pérain said in his press release.

"On arrival at the airport in France, the arrest warrant of the investigating judge of the Jirs (specialized interregional jurisdiction) of Nancy will be notified," he added.

An airport source confirmed this information.

“He arrives tomorrow with his wife and children.

The arrest warrant will be notified and executed by the Air Transport Gendarmerie, ”said this source.

On arrival, Mr. Daillet will be transferred "immediately to Nancy for his indictment", or presented "before the judge of liberties and detention of Bobigny for provisional imprisonment," said the prosecutor.

If the second option was retained, he would be "transferred to Nancy to be questioned by the investigating judges (...) within 4 days", he specified.

Malaysia had carried out the deportation to France.

Rémy Daillet is the subject of an international arrest warrant issued as part of the investigation into the kidnapping of little Mia, 8, perpetrated in mid-April in the Vosges.

The child and his mother were found a few days later in Switzerland.

Rémy Daillet is suspected, according to Mr. Pérain, of being the alleged “animator” of the anti-system “movement” of the kidnappers at the origin of the kidnapping.

He, his partner and his three children, aged 17, 9 and 2, were arrested at the end of May on the Malaysian tourist island of Langkawi where they were staying.

Their visas having expired, Malaysia proceeded to deport them to France.

But it was interrupted Sunday in Singapore: during a stopover, the companion of Rémy Daillet, Léonie Bardet, pregnant, had been hospitalized. According to Jean-Christophe Basson-Larbi, the family lawyer, Léonie Bardet has several medical certificates "which unanimously attest that her health does not allow her to fly". Madame Bardet and her children "have no connection with the judicial information relating to the so-called Mia case", and "are the inadmissible victims of the French desire to have no regard for their lives", estimated the lawyer in a statement released Tuesday.
