UNIMI Innova is the name of the innovation hub of the University of Milan which is presented in a streaming event from the Aula Magna in via Festa del Perdono.
The event is an opportunity to raise awareness of the research projects in the health and environment field that have won the Seed4Innovation scouting program (created with Deloitte and Bugnion), the Milan School of Management and the Student Innovation Labs, in addition to future Open projects. To open the event, greetings from the rector Elio Franzini and the deputy pro-rector and with responsibility for Research and Innovation, Maria Pia Abbracchio, followed by the presentation of the actions implemented by the State University and the UNIMI Foundation to support the innovation and training system for businesses and professionals.
Among the guests of the event Luca Solari, president of the UNIMI Foundation and director of the 'Walter Tobagi' School of Journalism, Daniela Vandone, director of the Milan School of Management, and Roberto Tiezzi, head of the Innovation and Knowledge Enhancement Department of the State University and Director General of the UNIMI Foundation.
Following, the round table entitled 'Public-private partnerships: in whose interest?', With the participation of Roberto Orsenigo (Novartis Farma SpA), Monica Binaschi (Menarini-Ricerche), Alessandro Cremonesi (STMicroelectronics) and Andrea Ruckstuhl (Lendlease).
The event closes with the awarding of the five research teams winners of a loan aimed at implementing the project thanks to the University's PoC (Proof of Concept) Fund, for a total availability of 200,000 euros.
