After six months of silence, Delphine Jubillar's closest colleagues finally agreed to speak. To evoke, in a mani

She has the feeling of not having understood anything, at the time, of the interior storm which agitated her ex-colleague of work. Six months later, this idea remains difficult to accept. Michelle, a nursing assistant at the Claude-Bernard clinic in Albi, had been Delphine Jubillar's partner for the past ten years. The 33-year-old nurse was his closest colleague. Together, they have spent hundreds, thousands of nights, within the walls of the clinic. First in the pneumology service and, since 2018, with the oldest patients, in the geriatric service. The shift took place at 7 pm and ended around 7:30 am, with two nights during the “short” week and five during the “long” week.

"Delphine had not told me anything about her plan to separate from Cédric," recalls Michelle, in her fifties, her eyes red with emotion. She hadn't told me either about her budding romantic relationship with this man from Montauban ”. Still, a few signals appeared confusedly. “In the weeks leading up to her disappearance, I saw her completely addicted to her phone. She never parted with it and wrote messages compulsively… I even found that a bit exaggerated. So once, a bit jokingly, I asked her if she had a lover… But she didn't answer me and we moved on.I also remember that she had taken off her wedding ring and that Cédric hadn't been seen recently appearing with the children when she called them on video when they went to bed at night. I blame myself for not having insisted more ... "

"She sang and danced when we were on a break"

The colleagues of Delphine Jubillar during a white march, June 12 in Albi (Tarn), in tribute to the young nurse who disappeared last December.

Simple detail, a sign of their attachment, it was she, Michelle, who had sold to Delphine, for a very symbolic price, the famous white down jacket - "without a hood", she specifies - which would have been worn by the nurse the night she disappeared.

This down jacket has still not been found.

Afterwards, another aspect of Delphine's behavior comes to mind in Marie, another nurse in the night geriatric ward.

“Just before her disappearance, in November and December, Delphine was euphoric,” she says.

She sang and danced when we were on break.

His big thing at the moment was the song

Chipolata

which appeared on the M 6 show

.

She was putting on a little more makeup than before too.

You could tell that she was particularly happy;

but we didn't really know why ”.

And then Michelle and her colleagues read the testimony of Delphine's lover in our columns.

Delphine Jubillar case: investigation into a mysterious disappearance

"It was then that we understood what she was going through inside the weeks leading up to her disappearance," Michelle sighs. It was a very beautiful love story with a man who seemed to suit her. A gentle and respectful man. Quite the opposite of Cédric. He could be arrogant, without embarrassment. Including during the white march that we organized last Saturday in tribute to Delphine. That day, in the procession, he spoke loudly and vituperated against the presence of photographers and cameras… I didn't like him at all and besides, I never understood what Delphine was doing with him. She was so tolerant, accommodating, attentive to others. She never gave in to the urge to criticize people. But hey, his relationship, it was a delicate subject to broach. "

On vacation since December 10, Delphine Jubillar was to resume service on the 23rd. “We were getting ready to work together on Christmas night,” Michelle whispers.

After having listened to the explanations of the public prosecutor of Toulouse at the end of the indictment of Cédric Jubillar for murder, she sends us a written message to complete her testimony.

“Delphine was a wonderful person, professionally, humanely.

An outstanding mother.

I loved him so much.

I am horrified by everything I hear.

I think of his children who will no longer see their mother.

I am devastated… ”.
