The most exclusive cars, those with the sportiest DNA that Ferrari customers entrust to the loving care of Maranello technicians all year round, now have a new home.

It is the new headquarters of the GT Sports Activities department which was built in record time just a few steps from the private track of the Prancing Horse in Fiorano.

A location where history, technology and passion are one.

The technicians and engineers who over the years have taken care of the cars that have participated in and often won world titles in F1, WEC and other prestigious world championships, today work and put the same cars that over time have been purchased by collectors. who do not just keep the cars in the garage, but who often take them to the track and make them turn back to their former glory.

The department was born in 2006 but in a different way it had already been operational for a long time before. Today, the GT Sport Activities body oversees the functions of the GT Competitions and Corse Clienti departments whose main purpose is to organize or support the activities on the track by customers, be they individuals or teams.

The new headquarters of the institution, recently completed, houses the offices, workshops and an exhibition area that make this structure a real multifunctional center with an extremely low environmental impact. The building is spread over two floors, with an unprecedented roof terrace which, equipped with green spaces, allows the improvement of air quality and microclimatic mitigation. On the ground floor there are the workshops where the maintenance and preparation operations of the F1 Clienti single-seaters or the XX Program cars are carried out, as well as a storage and exhibition area. On the first floor, on the other hand, there is an exhibition space which, if necessary, can also host special events as already happened for the presentation of the 812 Competizione.

This area, where there are some examples of the most famous and winning Scuderia Ferrari single-seaters, supports the offices where the technicians and designers of Competizioni GT work, as well as the entire Corse Clienti team that organizes the events and races that include direct customer involvement.

More in detail, Competizioni GT is the department that supports the teams and cars participating in the main national and international championships for the 488 GTE or 488 GT3 Evo 2020 GT cars. If the present is represented by these cars, the near future is three letters: LMH. With this acronym, which indicates Le Mans Hypercar, the Maranello manufacturer will return to battle in the endurance world championship in the premier class, 50 years after its last race. A car that will hit the track in 2023 and that in the meantime takes shape in the design offices and simulators in Maranello.

Club Competizioni GT, on the other hand, is the initiative that aims to bring back on track the most significant cars of the recent history of success in the Prancing Horse covered wheel races, starting from the F40 Competizione up to the most recent 488 GT3 and GTE. A program featuring five events that take place on the most beautiful circuits around the world. From 2021, the 488 GT Modified will also be admitted to the events, the extreme synthesis of the 488 GT3 and GTE.

The Corse Clienti department promotes activities that directly involve customers or the Ferrari sales network. The visiting card is the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli, the single-make championship that has brought dream cars and very special customers to the tracks since 1993, who are not satisfied with driving their Ferrari on the road but want to compete in high-level competitive sprint races. The Ferrari Challenge is divided into three continental series, the Europe, the North America and the Asia-Pacific series which ran its first season in 2011. To these, the British national series, the Ferrari Challenge UK, was added in 2019.

The protagonist of the championship is the 488 Challenge Evo, presented in 2019 and equipped with a new aerodynamic and ergonomic kit which, together with other improvements related to the electronics and the braking system, significantly increase the already excellent performance of the previous model. The new tire specially developed together with Pirelli also contributes to the achievement of the objective.

F1 Clienti is the program that since 2003 allows a small group of people to buy cars of the highest category and allows those who have owned them even in previous years to make the most of them. Corse Clienti makes the car owner feel like a Scuderia Ferrari driver. You don't have to worry about anything other than putting on gloves and helmet, driving and having fun. During the events, the driver has the opportunity to count on exceptional tutors, ready to reveal all the secrets of the single-seaters, helping to make an already unique experience even better.

No limits, no compromises, free rein to power, technology and driving pleasure: the Ferrari XX Program is all this and nothing embodies the concept better than the FXX-K Evo, the most recent of the cars belonging to this very special segment. A 1050 HP model obtained thanks to a V12 engine and a hybrid system called "Hy-Kers" derived from F1, supported by very advanced active aerodynamics and the most advanced control and electronic systems.

The XX Program foresees the use of cars designed in total freedom, without any restrictions and always keeping the driver's safety first, because these cars are not made for competitions, even if their only vocation is the track. (HANDLE).
