An 85-year-old woman died from a heart attack, during that night from Sunday to Monday, in Montpellier.
According to information from 20 Minutes, her husband, aged 93, is suspected of domestic violence which would have resulted in her death.
The police were alerted by the couple's neighbors in the evening, when the victim called for help, reports the daily.
According to France Bleu, the police had already intervened on numerous occasions for disputes between the victim and her husband, but never yet for violence.
Blood and beatings
This time, the couple's dispute would have been triggered by the desire of Montpellier to clean in the middle of the night, advance 20 Minutes.

When the police arrived at the home of the retirees, after one in the morning, they discovered the body bloodied and covered with the marks of beatings of the octogenarian, reports the daily.
She was already lifeless when help arrived.
