The young man, who was under guardianship and had been missing since July 4, was found lifeless in a tent set up under the Jaurès metro, in the 19th arrondissement, where marginal drug addicts are grouped.
The investigations had initially been opened for "research of the causes of death", the body of the young man, who lived in the district with his family, showing no clear signs of a possible homicide.
Testimonies from the neighborhood, especially among drug addicts living in the neighborhood, then led to the arrest of a suspect on Friday.
At the same time, toxicological and anatomopathological expertises were ordered to determine the cause of death, which has not yet been disclosed.
Family dissatisfaction
The Paris judicial police were in charge of the investigation.

The public prosecutor requested that the suspect be charged and placed in pre-trial detention.
But the family of the young man denounces the lack of responsiveness of the police after the report of his disappearance.
