Director, actor and producer Zvi Shissel passed away at the age of 75
Shissel, who died as a result of a system crash, produced the first seven albums of his good friend Arik Einstein.
In addition, he directed and produced dozens of films, including "Snail" and "Big Eyes."

Actor, creator, producer and director Zvi Shissel passed away at the age of 75. His son David Shissel told Walla! Culture: "Dad felt a little unwell towards the end of last week. On Saturday he came to the hospital. Slowly there was a collapse of systems in intensive care. And he died of entanglement.
" All along we were with him, he laughed at us and we laughed at him, and today at seven in the morning he He still made us laugh, as he had laughed all his life. He walked peacefully. And it was no longer cold in his head. What to say, my dad is the most special, the funniest, with the most special life. We were privileged to be his sons, to be Shisalim, and to live the whole culture and the whole creation. We love him and we will always love him. "
Shissel directed and produced dozens of films, including "Snail" and "Big Eyes."
Shissel also directed, co-wrote and starred in "Cables" (1992) with his good friends Arik Einstein and Moni Moshonov.
In the early 1970s, he founded the Hagar company with Einstein and produced the singer's first seven albums.
He also produced, acted and co-wrote the screenplay for the TV series "Lol" which was shown on Channel One in the early 1970s, starred in the films "Peeking" (1972) and the film "Big Eyes" (1974).
He produced and starred in the film "Snail" (1970), directed and starred in the thriller "Funny Israelis" (1978).
Over the years he has devoted a lot to directing and appearing in commercials as well.

In the years 1980-1987, Shissel traveled to the United States, where he produced and directed commercials, set up an Israeli television station called Tel-Aviv TV and worked for the "Canon" company of Menachem Golan and Yoram Globus.
He also directed several of the "Lemon Popsicles" films, including the last film in the series, "The Celebration Continues" (2001).
Between the years 2003-2006 he participated in the program "The Strip" alongside Uri Gottlieb and Nati Kluger and also directed sketches there.
Minister of Culture Hili Trooper praised him: "Zvi Shissel was an exceptional Israeli director and actor with rare talent. His fingerprints and works remain in the hearts of many Israelis, who know how to quote many pearls he created.
