While waiting for the trial, the father has "the prohibition of contact with the child" and the obligation "to begin psychological care and to report regularly to the gendarmerie of his place of residence", specifies the press release of parquet.
The father had succeeded in thwarting the vigilance of the educational services before fleeing with his son after a supervised visitation right, at the House of the department of Lannion.
At this stage, the suspect "does not dispute the facts which he claims not to have premeditated", explains the public prosecutor who stresses that the file must be supplemented by psychological and personality expertises still in progress.
The child placed in foster care
The child, found following the initiation of a kidnapping alert procedure by the authorities on Saturday morning, has been placed in foster care since June 17 by decision of the Saint-Brieuc children's judge. After "reassuring medical examinations", the child, suffering from deafness, was accommodated in a specialized educational structure adapted to his condition and his handicap ", concludes the prosecutor.
