The plan is a device that allows healthcare establishments to immediately mobilize additional resources in the event of an exceptional influx of patients.
It may involve the postponement of leave for nursing staff and the deprogramming of surgical interventions, for example.

Haute-Corse has a very high incidence rate: 846.6 cases of Covid-19 per 100,000 inhabitants during the last week of July, the third largest after Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon and Martinique.
According to data from Public Health France, 14 people with the virus were hospitalized in critical care in Corsica on Monday, out of 1232 in France.
A popular destination for tourists, Corsica had already been the subject of new restrictions in recent days.
The wearing of the mask had thus been decided in certain dense areas of the island.
