Pregnant, breastfeeding or planning to become pregnant, all young American women are encouraged to get vaccinated as soon as possible.
That's the message released on Wednesday by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the federal health agency.
“Vaccines are safe and effective, and it has never been more urgent to increase the number of vaccinations as we face the
highly transmissible

and see the serious consequences of
Covid-19

said Dr. Rochelle Walensky, director of the CDC in a statement.
