Practice: NFC - not WiFi
The demand for faster, more convenient, secure - and even more hygienic - payment methods has accelerated the transition to non-contact payment via credit cards or smartphones.
Meanwhile, most of the public in Israel is confused and calls the technology WiFi - probably because the logo embossed on the credit cards is reminiscent of the logo of the wireless Internet.
So what should you know?
A smart card operates on technology based on the EMV standard - an international standard.
The actual payment is made using an NFC chip.

Samsung has announced two folding smartphones
Samsung has a new strategy: to turn smartphones with a foldable and flexible screen into elite phones, and increase their market share.
This strategy was approved last week with the announcement of new premium devices in the Z series, whose main feature is a folding screen.
Will she succeed?
There is no knowing.
Samsung is making a serious bet here for the days of Corona and in light of general economic uncertainty in the world.
However, the Z Flip 3 will cost NIS 3,750, which puts it in front of other elite phones (iPhone 12 Pro for example), at an affordable price than before.
