A woman was very seriously injured with stab wounds at her home, in Ciboure, in the night from Friday to Saturday around two in the morning.
The victim was transferred to the Belhara clinic in Bayonne in serious condition, reports France Bleu and Sud Ouest.
During his transfer, the emergency services noticed that his vital prognosis was engaged.

The 40-year-old woman is unloading her car in front of her apartment where she has just parked when a man approaches and gives her a violent blow to the head.
The attacker then allegedly seized a knife in the kitchen of the apartment where the victim resides and beat her about ten times, before leaving the premises.
A neighbor then witnesses the escape of the individual through a small garden and another a neighborhood street.
The eyewitness warns the Saint-Jean-de-Luz police officers who intervene in the process.
The attacker on the run
Arrived on the spot they discover, in his bathroom, the victim lying in his own blood.
Help was also called, then intervened and the victim was immediately sent to the nearest clinic in Bayonne, in critical condition.
The Bayonne judicial police were in charge of the investigation and are still looking for the attacker, on the run.
