The pharmacies are expanding their offerings for those who have recovered

In view of the increasing numbers of Covid-19 infections, in many places you have to identify yourself as vaccinated, recovered or tested in order to gain access.
Those who have survived the disease now have an easier time proving this.
As the Federal Association of Pharmacists' Associations announced in Berlin on Tuesday, the so-called digital health certificates will also be available in pharmacies in the future.
In the first six months after a corona infection, recovery certificates are a bridging solution for those who are sick. According to the recommendation of the Standing Vaccination Commission (Stiko), they should not receive any vaccinations during this time. In order to be able to prove the immunity built up by the disease, for example when visiting restaurants or sports events, they have previously received a replacement certificate in medical practices, which is only valid for six months without a supplementary vaccination.
The pharmacies have now upgraded their technical infrastructure for issuing certificates so that those who have recovered can also receive a digital certificate here.
However, this offer is not yet available in all pharmacies.
People who have survived a corona infection must present a valid identification document and a positive PCR test, which must not be more than 180 days ago.
The offer is free of charge for citizens.
According to the information provided, the pharmacies receive EUR 5.04 plus VAT per certificate from the Federal Social Security Office.
