In News 12 they found the real reason for Corona: Omar Adam

Omar Adam at Minister of Fitness' Thanksgiving Party (Or Geffen, PR)

No flights abroad, no disregard for guidelines and no opponents of vaccines - News 12 decided yesterday to confront Health Minister Nitzan Horowitz with the real reason for the Corona epidemic in Israel: Singer Omar Adam. the interviewer about the vaccine III, explained unconvincingly the Hzgzog of office on the Restriction of gathering and revealed again that whoever really runs the business - for better or worse - is the finance minister Avigdor Lieberman.

after all, the title of the interview as they chose the site editor N12 was " Horowitz v. Omar Adam: This can not happen and is not acceptable to me - violation of the law. "In the headline it was already clarified that Horowitz" valid ". And the caption: "This is lawlessness."

Indeed, the headlines did not lie.

Two minutes into the interview, Marciano presented the minister with a video from Omar Adam's performance at the Yad Eliyahu Sports Hall in Tel Aviv last Saturday. Without thinking twice, Horowitz responded, "No, that's not the kind of thing I accept."

He himself did not break the law, so what's the point?

Omar Adam (Photo: Eldad Aloni - Project story teller)

It is worth noting, although in the Israeli-watched edition they forgot to do so, that although it sounded strange and seemed delusional, the show was held by law. The updated green label guidelines explicitly state that events held in places with marked seating can be held without an audience limit. That is, Marciano's emphasis on the amount of viewers is irrelevant. 12 thousand, 21 thousand or 50 thousand. If the seats are marked, the performance is conducted according to the procedures. So where is the violation of the law? Where are the "unacceptable things" about the health minister if they are conducted according to the guidelines set by his ministry?

The answer lies in the small details. The promiscuous violation of the law on which Malin Horowitz was committed was not committed at all by Omar Adam, but by some of the viewers, who contrary to the guidelines did not wear a mask. For the avoidance of doubt, when we talk about "some of the spectators" we mean something between 90 and 99 percent of those present at the event.

Let's take the obvious: Anyone who enters a closed public place, probably in a place as crowded as a music performance, and does not wear a mask - is breaking the law.

Omar Adam's fans knew this, and they chose to break the law.

Apparently they knew no one would enforce the law.

Just as no one enforces the rules of masks almost anywhere.

Just as most people sent to solitary confinement do not really isolate themselves from the world for the period prescribed by law.

But the health minister was not asked about the general disregard for corona guidelines, nor was he asked about the lack of enforcement, just as he was not asked logic questions like how could it be that in a country where 12,000 people are allowed to see a music show, the possibility of postponing the school year is discussed.

He was asked about pictures of an audience enjoying an Omar Adam performance and whether it was acceptable to him.

Where are the "unacceptable things" about the Minister of Health? Nitzan Horowitz (Photo: screenshot, no)

Dealing with an isolated event, in the case of a performance by the most popular singer in the country, is a great example of the disproportion of epidemic coverage. I would be lying to myself if I claimed that such examples could not be found on the site you are currently browsing. It's an egg and a chicken. Everyone sees the spectators in Omar Adam's performance celebrating without masks and chirping, but at almost every event in Israel the pictures were the same. The people in charge announce that masks must be put on, and the audience despises and ignores them.

By virtue of my position I have attended 12 mass events in the last two months. With the exception of one case, in the Habima National Theater hall, where ushers passed by and woke people up to wear masks, in all places there was institutionalized lawlessness. At one of the events, in a closed hall with another 1,500 people, the Honorable Minister Nitzan Horowitz sat with a mask (but many others hid the mask under the auspices of the darkness of the hall). In another incident, alongside 12,000 people in the open air, the Marciano Foundation was observed. No one clicked.

One has to be very detached from reality to point to the appearance of Omar Adam as something out of the ordinary.

Take the light rail in Jerusalem and watch some of the passengers make sure to wear a mask.

Try asking people at the cinema to follow the procedures and see what angry looks you get.

Look at the second picture in the review of the show I posted about Yoni Bloch two weeks ago, can you find anyone there in the colorful bustle of the crowded Barbie club wearing a surgical mask over his mouth and nose?

Why did no one bother to ask the Minister of Health if the pictures were acceptable to him?

Apparently because Yoni Bloch does not bring ratings like Omar Adam.

Personally, the last sentence bothers me no less than the spread of the corona.
