Audi skysphere (manufacturer)

For years, the large and glittering car shows have been losing their place, prestige, importance and some would say - their necessity.

The huge investments of the manufacturers in the exhibition exhibits have gone insanely costly, and we are talking about orders of magnitude of millions of dollars for display and in extreme cases also $ 10 million (the total cost starts from the planning, rental, construction, operation and dismantling) and all for a one-time event. "Exposure" in it has become almost completely unnecessary when the cars themselves are already exposed in advance on the net, in official "spy photos" and the period of time before they reach the road becomes very short.

After two years: Geneva exhibition returns

The eruption of the corona was simply the last nail in the coffin of the traditional car shows, but shortly before that the organizers of the shows came up with a patent, these are no longer car shows but "mobility" shows.

Which encompasses all modern transportation solutions, from tools like scooters to shared transportation and technology services.

But maybe still, after more than a year and a half in which almost no significant exhibition was held - at the IAA exhibition in Munich, which will open in 6 days on September 7, the manufacturers found an opportunity to vent steam and release new models.

Unsurprisingly, most of the presence is from German manufacturers, but there are others as well.

After the open concept car skysphere, at Audi the center of attention will be grabbed by the grandsphere show car that will showcase Audi's vision for the future of luxury-touring-luxury four-door cars think of it as the successor to the Audi A8.

It will of course be electric, but the innovation in it is a dynamic seating arrangement that will allow you to relax while driving, while the car with a level of autonomy 4 takes care of the rest.

Apart from these, the new RS3 we have already told you about will also be presented, but we would be happy to mention - an improved dual propulsion system, with the new torque splitter replacing the "Haldex".

The engine remains 2.5 liters, 5 cylinders with 400 horsepower, 3.8 seconds per 100 and a maximum speed of between 250 and 290 km / h depending on the performance package.

BMW

For a manufacturer in Munich that is its "home city", it is natural to settle with a model armada.

Prominent among them will be the electric i4 and the iX electric crossover as well.

Another one that will appear is the X5 in a hydrogen-powered version that is currently in advanced trials and is expected to hit the market in a limited series next year.

The rest of the cars belong to the familiar and existing offering - the 2 Coupe series, the facelift of the X3 and X4 and possibly even the updated version of the electric iX3.

In the two-wheeled field, it will feature the future-looking CE 04 electric scooter with a range of 130 km.

Copra Bourne, the sporty version of Volkswagen's electric platform (Photo: Manufacturer's website)

Copra

Seat's sports division continues to expand its range of models with an emphasis on electricity.

So whoever is seen there on stage will be the electric borer that takes the base in the form of the Volkswagen ID.3 in a sporty direction with the help of 231 hp. The manufacturer will also present a concept for an electric city car that in the meantime Against silly and working teasers for you and not for Copra, we will not give them free meals and we will wait for pictures of the real thing.

Dacia

And after all the concept-monsters here is Dacia, where Tachle's is talking.

This time, this manufacturer's touchdown touches on a painful and important point for the Israeli market - a seven-seater vehicle called the Jogger, which will replace the Lodge.

Why is it important?

Because it means that this is a car that, if we learn from the past, will be a cheap alternative to the minivans and crossovers with the 7 seats that have become more expensive.

The second important news is the use of a modern platform that will allow it to display the adequate and expected level of safety from a modern car including advanced safety systems.

No picture of him, teaser yes, but we do not play this game.

Also at the show, the manufacturer will present the renewed Duster on its way to Israel and the Spring e, a small mini car the size of the Kia Picanto & Co., but with an electric motor that provides 43 hp and a declared range of 230 km - very interesting in the local aspect.

Ford

Ford also has a very strong presence in Germany with a central European headquarters based in Cologne.

And Ford chooses to focus on electricity in this show on a number of levels, starting with the Ford Puma with a “moderate hybrid” hybrid auxiliary system that does not propel the car but uses a battery to extend the engine bleeding periods.

In addition, the Koga will be presented in a plug-in version, but the highlight is a more or less first European show for the Mustang Mach E GT with 487 hp and 87.7 kg and a declared range of 500 km. Unless you insist on accelerating with it to 100 In 3.7 seconds too many times.

For Kia, the Munich show will be the stage for the presentation of the Sportage Plug In in its European version.

Large and luxurious electric, Mercedes EQT (Photo: Manufacturer's website)

Mercedes

Another key German player who brings to the home exhibition of arch-rival rival Arsenal is very stimulating and her offer will include no less than 5 electric vehicles.

The EQE will be the equivalent of the E-Class in all-electric propulsion, more AMG versions of the manufacturer's electric cars will appear for the first time, an electric concept for Maybach, the EQT will be a concept and a glimpse into Mercedes' world of luxury electric vans.

The EQS electric luxury car will also be there, though not new, but at the first physical opportunity to be impressed by it.

Stubborn rumors tell about who might be the nail of the show - the EQG which is exactly what you think it is - an electric version of the G-Class ...

The limo will be used by Renault's transportation services (Photo: manufacturer's website)

Renault

Brno also has the message lateral and display length is electric.

The more important model will be the Megane E-Tech which is supposed to appear there in a final production version.

Close to such a version will be the R5 prototype for the manufacturer's electric electric car inspired by the Renault 5. The

Renault will also deal with the worlds of mobility with the Mobilize Limo.

Its name actually consists of two parts, that of Mobilize which is a sub-brand of Renault that provides transport services similar to the Uber or Lift and the Limo which is the nickname for a car that looks like a hybrid of a crossover and 4-door coupe, powered by electric motor and should offer extra generous space for rear passengers.

The Multivan will be based on the Golf and will be the passenger's commercial version of the manufacturer (Photo: Manufacturer's website)

Volkswagen

In the display of the big new Volkswagen, I literally will be the new Multivan.

In the current generation, the manufacturer splits between commercial versions that will use the name Transporter and the passenger versions that will use the name Multivan.

These will be based on the golf floor.

Apart from the Multivan there will be a sleek polo, their new little crossover Taigo, which is a tee cross with a coupe design.

The electric supply of the ID brand will probably also be presented, with the two interesting ones being ID.5, a kind of coupe version of ID.4 and its sporty version of the GTX.

The ACM wants to be a cheap urban solution for a shared electric car (Photo: Manufacturer's website)

Various

Other manufacturers that will be on display at the show and interesting enough to dwell on are ACM which is a start-up for an urban car that sanctifies simplicity and usability, declares its intention to be affordable, but does not specify what it is.

Its modularity allows it to be used as an urban or even small commercial passenger car in converting the rear to a 1,450-liter surface.

The paddle is electric and its declared range is up to 240 km. An interesting component they chose to combine is adding 4 portable battery compartments beyond its main battery. In this way it is able to "charge" a few tens of km in a few minutes of battery replacement.

The spiritual heiress to Izta comes from Switzerland and is electric (Photo: Manufacturer's website)

Remember Izta?

The Italian bubble car originally created by BMW?

Well obviously it's only a matter of time before someone creates a modern heiress for her.

This time it comes from Switzerland.

As the original is bubbly looking with generous window space, a “sardine” roof opens and a front door.

Unlike the Izta it is with an electric motor.

Porsche does not say what will be there, but only hinted at a picture that is somewhat reminiscent of the Taiken and perhaps hints at a concept car or a little sister to the Taiken and perhaps an electric sports car at all.

What do you care, it's a Porsche, it's sure to be great.

Mini's minivan (Photo: Manufacturer's website)

Smart calls a completely different surprise.

The brand that started with tiny city cars has already moved to make use of electric propulsion.

This time he makes another move and introduces his first crossover, with electric propulsion.

This is definitely not the first time that Smart will offer a car with the option of rear seat, this is definitely the first time it will be in a very different chassis than it was before.

Mercedes' partner in this development is also interesting - this is the Chinese car giant Gili, which owns Volvo, Lotus and more.

The mini will have a small minivan on display, or if you want to be really sophisticated call it a minivan that itself presents some idea.

Where did they go with that and what does that have to do with sex?

Ask there and tell us.

The new system of the Israeli Autotox, communication between bicycles and smart infrastructure and cars (Photo: Manufacturer's website)

The Israeli point

And as with any interesting story, what we are looking for is the Israeli point.

So we found, and there are even two of them.

The first in the field of technology and the second in the field of real vehicles.

The technological aspect belonging to the Autotox company, which specializes in communication chips between vehicles and vehicles and between infrastructure and vehicles, will present its latest development.

It is called ZooZ and it intends to be a solution to the detection and safety problems of scooters and bicycles that are becoming an integral part of the urban landscape.

It is in fact a combination of a device that transmits from the bicycle or scooter to a smart sign that, upon identifying the vehicle in its vicinity, alerts and informs the relevant vehicles in the area about the rider's location.

On Harn, founder of Autotox and the company's CTO: "The percentage of casualties of two-wheeler riders from all casualties is constantly increasing and about 75% of accidents are caused by mistakes of drivers who fail to identify riders due to their relative size and the fact that they are hidden by other vehicles. ".

The City Transformer premieres (Photo: Yachz)

The second part of the Israeli show is the City Transformer we told you about two weeks ago when it was first exposed to the Israeli press.

The patent of this urban power tool is its wheel spreader (the width between the wheels) that can range from 1.4 meters for a fast ("fast" ride, come, 90 km / h) to a width of up to a single meter for sliding purposes into a two-wheeled lane or parking lot. You can find about this revolutionary little tool and even quite cheap in the article about it.
