Over 4,400 km by road between Rome and the North Cape in less than 49 hours. Challenge and records largely achieved driving a Ferrari F8 with the exact time of 45 hours 20 minutes and 37 seconds. Protagonists of the record, Guinness World Record 2021, are Fabio Barone and his co-driver Alessandro Tedino.
The Italian crew, aboard a Ferrari F8 Tributo, had left on Saturday 4 September from Via dei Fori Imperiali in Rome with the aim of covering the 4400 kilometers in less time than that estimated by the mapping and navigation system designed. from the "giant" of Mountain View.
With 11 petrol refills all along the route, the two Italians crossed most of Europe without ever exceeding the speed limits set on the route and were able to unleash the performance of their Ferrari only on the legendary German motorways. The trip was continuously monitored by the Italian Timekeepers Federation and by a team of 40 technicians and professionals who followed the crew live throughout the enterprise.
