The
used car
market
is experiencing a situation of instability.
Although sales are even compared to 2020, the year in which replacement vehicles set the pace due to the historical decline suffered by 0 km, the Automotive Chamber of Commerce (CCA) declares that
demand exceeds supply
and that prices, due to the lack of stock, in several cases have skyrocketed.
His secretary, Alejandro Lamas, warned that "the market is fully in demand, taking the prices of used cars in many cases

."
To take into account which are the reference values that are handled in the market, CCA updated its price list made up of
more than 6,000 models and versions
that are marketed in the country, through the concessionaires that comprise it.
The list includes values of cars from 0 km to models manufactured in 2007, which show
increases between 8% and 10%
among the most sought after models.
The prices of the best sellers
The first thing to clarify is that the prices on the Chamber's list are subject to modification according to the state of operation and conservation of each vehicle, and do not include transfer, freight, insurance or debt costs.
The
Volkswagen Gol and Gol Trend
lead the sales ranking of used models.
Last month, more than 9,500 units were sold and this month, according to the CCA list, all its variants received a
10% adjustment

To cite a few examples, a base 2019 5-door Gol Trend has a baseline value of

from

last month.
The Volkswagen Gol is the undisputed leader in the aftermarket.
Something similar happens with the
Chevrolet Corsa
and
Classic
, second in the ranking.
As an example, the 3-door Corsa City versions, with air conditioning (2011), and the 1.4 LS sedan ABS Pack (2016) were taken.
In both cases, the September values

) are 10.1% and 10.3% higher respectively than those in August.
Among the 10 best-selling used models, the
Fiat Palio
grew 8% while the
Cronos
, which is the leader among 0km, also grew 10%.
Another model that is in the same line is the Ford EcoSport.

midsize pickups
, meanwhile, also increased in the same proportion, especially the
Toyota Hilux
and the
Ford Ranger
, which are the two most sought after trucks among used.
