Marseille: the body of an infant found in the trash of a train

The body of a newborn baby was found inside an Ouigo train, on the night of Monday to Tuesday, at Saint-Charles station. Investigation



It is a sinister discovery that the maintenance agents made during the night from Monday to Tuesday at the Saint-Charles station in Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône).

The lifeless body of an infant, naked, was found in a trash can of an Ouigo train, reveals BFM Marseille from a police source.

The baby's age is not yet known, nor the circumstances of his death.

According to BFM, the train had arrived in Marseille shortly before 9 p.m. from Lille.

Bloodied toilet paper was also reportedly discovered at the scene.

An investigation has been opened.

It was entrusted to the police of the Departmental Security.

Also contacted, the prefecture of Bouches-du-Rhône has not yet answered our questions.

In February, the parents of a four-month-old baby, who died in the hospital in Nice (Alpes-Maritimes) after his transfer from Corsica, had been indicted for “aggravated intentional homicide” and “aggravated violence”.
