A few months have passed since

Verne

, the section dedicated to digital culture of the newspaper EL PAÍS, had to say "see you later" to its readers.

He did so with a warning: "It is likely that

Verne will

return in the immediate future, even if it is no longer as a section of the newspaper."

Good intentions are confirmed and

Verne

returns in newsletter form.

You can sign up here to receive it.

The

newsletter

will be in charge of Anabel Bueno and Pablo Cantó, who were members of

Verne's

team

and are now part of EL PAÍS's social networks.

The new

newsletter

will focus every two weeks on an internet story: it could be an analysis of a trend in digital culture, the origin of a meme, or an interview with creators of podcasts, illustrations, tiktoks or comic cartoons.

The newsletter will also include recommendations: from EL PAÍS stories that we think readers may be interested in, to books and series, through YouTube videos or Instagram accounts.

And all without giving up humor because, as Chesterton said, "funny" is not the opposite of "serious", "funny" is the opposite of "boring", and nothing else.

If you want to receive the

newsletter

every other Sunday in your email, you just have to sign up here.
