Promo "Tehran" Season 1 Episode Eight and Last (Here 11)

The successful "Tehran" series of Here 11 is nominated in the category of best drama series at the International Emmy Award, given to foreign productions.

The awards will be presented at a ceremony to be held Nov. 22 in New York.



The spy drama was directed by Danny Sirkin, written by Moshe Zonder and Omri Shenhar, and created by Moshe Zonder, Maor Cohen and Dana Eden, who also produced with Shula Spiegel and Paperplane Productions.

Its first season, which began airing in June 2020, starred Niv Sultan, Menashe Noy, Liraz Cherki, Sean Taub and Nvid Nahban.

The series follows an Mossad agent and computer hacker named Tamar Rabinian who is sent to Tehran to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.

The series was filmed in Athens, Greece, following its creators' sense that the city is similar to Tehran.

The series, which was distributed outside Israel by the Canadian company Cineflix, was sold to Apple TV Plus at a value of about $ 1.5 million per episode, according to published estimates.

The second season of the series is currently being filmed, in which Glenn Close will participate, and it is scheduled to air during 2022. The second season will also star Niv Sultan as the Mossad agent.
