Between

On Tuesday, a temporary exhibition by the artist and creator Gilad Kahana (Giraffes) opened inside 3 empty buildings on Smuts Avenue in Tel Aviv, which are to be demolished as part of an urban renewal project (of the Shikun VeBinui and Urban Renewal companies).

The art project, which simulates the biblical paradise, is called "In Between" and it actually presents a huge installation that is spread over the members of a three-story building.

On the first floor, which represents the chaos, there is a kind of sonic light show in a dark space that includes music written by Kahana and lighting from 108 headlights.

The second floor represents the present and the third floor - the future.

The installation will close today at 23:00.

The Mask Project

Fashion photographer and phototherapist Edo Lavie will present photos of 31 well-known models and presenters in Israel, taken with cast plaster masks on their faces.

By "neutralizing" the beauty and representativeness of the photographed, Lavi seeks to re-examine their relationship with themselves and with the audience and how the use of the mask allows them to behave differently and change.

Among the participants in the exhibition: Ilanit Levy, Agam Rodberg, Esti Ginzburg, Galit Gutman, Yana Gur, Yarden Harel, Maloy Levy, Noam Frost and Shirley Boganim.
