Hybrid art and hybrid cars in BMW (Photo: Rafi Daloia)
With a long history of those art cars, BMW cars decorated as works of art by artists like Andy Warhol, Geff Koons, Roy Lichtenstein and more, the Bavarian manufacturer has a pretty close connection to the whole art world.
Now the local importer is also harnessing a gallery of local artists to create an exhibition under the name “Hybrid Art” that will be displayed alongside the manufacturer’s hybrid cars in its showrooms.
Among the 20 works that present an interpretation of the concept of "hybrids" can be found works by Yoav Brenner, Lia Yaakobi, Nir Yonsey, Orly Montag and more.
The show takes place in the BMW Hall throughout the month of October, when some of the proceeds from the works of art for sale will be donated to the "Happy Holidays" organization that helps needy families on Rosh Hashanah and Passover.

London in Tel Aviv
In preparation for the start of the "London taxis" imported by EV MOTORS in Tel Aviv, which is expected in January 2022, one of them arrived for a demonstration trip in which the deputy mayor of Tel Aviv and the holder of the transportation portfolio at Meital Lehavi participated.
The taxi is an electric propulsion vehicle, which in addition to the possibility of charging from a charging station like any electric car, uses a gasoline engine as a "range extender", in that it serves as a generator that charges the battery.
The car has a declared maximum driving range of 500 km and is suitable for transporting six passengers and a driver. The taxi is suitable for transporting people with disabilities due to a built-in surface and a passenger space that allows entry with a wheelchair.
