During the meeting, which took place near the town hall of Cagnac-les-Mines (Tarn), the friend in question tried to calm the relationship of the couple, asks Cédric to "leave his wife alone", as she then explained to a third party.
A discussion that she justified by the fact that she did not want to “stand by and do nothing” and that she did not want to see “anyone suffer”, reports the daily.

Three days before her disappearance, he allegedly said to one of his friends: "It's not going well, I want to kill her".
A witness also remembers that a few months earlier, during the summer of 2020, Cédric Jubillar had declared that "if Delphine leaves me one day or if she finds someone, I would be able to kill her".
