"I came for the music!" Oded Paz shouted on stage.
But the audience came for a different reason
It’s hard to remain cynical about a series that taught an entire generation of kids how to say “I love you” in Arabic and disrupted the lyrics of the Eagles ’hit forever.
The pajamas came to life yesterday in Tel Aviv.
And in a big way

The pajamas return to the stage (Avi Avishag)
Oded Paz and Ilan Rosenfeld insisted on framing the crowd that visited the B-Side club yesterday.
They, too, apparently did not understand the size of the cult they had created more than 20 years ago.
Among the mistakes in the lyrics and song cuts stood the disguised fans and the screaming references, which are the magic that brought the series to life.
"I came to music," Oded Paz declared on the stage of his debut with the band "Helmets," with a complete missing point.
None of the crowd that filled the club in Tel Aviv came for the music.
To be honest, it does not matter at all who was singing, or playing, and how was the sound, and what was the lineup.
The show, for which tickets ran out two months ago (as well as the tickets for the other three shows, which were completely snatched up), was the undefined reunion show of the generations that grew up on the pajamas.

It is difficult to draw a uniform line between the audience that came to the performance of "Oded Paz and the Helmets" last Thursday.
The band members insisted that it was actually easy.
"You have already grown up, you are 30 years old, you have families, children," Oded Paz and Ilan Rosenfeld called out to the audience, who shouted back at him, "We are 16 years old."
Perhaps the members of the pajama band did not themselves understand the size of the cult they created more than 20 years ago, and how much it survived the test of time years ahead.
For those who are not yet clear that the pajamas are a cult series for everything, the appearance of "Helmets" will prove otherwise.
A variety of references, from the costumes worn by the audience, through the food sold at the stalls to entire script parts that were recited on stage, which the viewers, of course, knew how to fix accordingly.
Cold.

The audience did not care when words were confused and songs were cut.
More was felt by the absence of Kobe Farage, the third rib in the band, and of the (perfect) monologue of Gary Mandelbaum (Yaniv Polishuk in the role of his life) who tries to convince him that he is a "wonderful wonderful actor."
The reason is that neither the music nor the show are the thing in this show.
The performance of "Oded Paz and the Helmets" is the complete extraction of the strange feeling of seeing things come to life.
It’s hard to remain cynical about a series that taught an entire generation of kids how to say “I love you” in Arabic and disrupted the lyrics of the Eagles ’hit forever.
