Seventh-grade students in Dalit El Carmel have successfully created a barcode accessible to the visually impaired that will allow them to shop for themselves, when it is one of two initiatives chosen to represent Israel at the international conference "Creating Change."
Eliza Farhat, a 100 percent visually impaired person who recently completed a master's degree in political science, and Monaya Halabi, a teacher at Koptan Middle School in Dalyat al-Carmel, spoke about the wonderful product.
