Covid-19: a new variant detected in a Breton school

, a new variant of Covid-19 has been detected in the town of Bannalec in Finistère.

Eighteen children and six adults were infected, the first contaminations date back to October 15 in the Mona Ozouf school in the small town.

Two classes are first closed out of the twelve in the school, then two others, then three.

Health authorities have been slow to identify this new variant, which is very different from the previous one observed.
