Script USA is now vaccinating children
In the USA, children from the age of five have also been vaccinated against the corona virus since last week.
President Biden called this a
"
turning point" - the CDC vaccination recommendation meant
"
the end of months of worrying about their children"
for parents across the country

Since the pandemic began, a total of 1.9 million corona infections have been diagnosed in children between the ages of five and eleven in the United States.

The vaccine from Biontech and Pfizer is given in significantly lower doses for children and elicits a strong immune response.
So far, young children have only been vaccinated against Corona in a handful of countries.

Biontech / Pfizer has also applied for approval in Europe.
A decision by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) should be made before Christmas.
Clinical studies on the vaccination of children are currently also being carried out by all other manufacturers of the previously approved vaccines.
