Children's author Hannah Horn ("Hello, Hello Dad") passed away at the age of 99
Horn, a native of the United States who immigrated to Eretz Israel as a child, has published 15 children's books and an autobiography over the years.
The most prominent in the library was "Hello Hello Dad" from 1963, which was illustrated by her sister Bracha Feldman.
The book described a telephone conversation between a boy and his father and became an Israeli childhood classic

Horn was born in New York in 1922, and immigrated to Eretz Israel when she was ten with her mother and brother.
She was involved in early childhood education, and especially in educating deaf children.
She was known to the general public as a writer who wrote 15 children's books, as well as the autobiography "Leli", published in 2008. The seller in the library is "Hello Hello Dad", published in 1963 with an illustration by Bracha Feldman - Horn's sister who illustrated many more of her books.
The book, which describes a telephone conversation between a boy and his father, has become an Israeli childhood classic, and over the years Horn has written other books inspired by him, such as "Hello Hello Mom" and "Hello Hello Grandma."
