Meta launches in-stream ads in Israel - a new monitoring tool that will be used by Israeli content entities, including media, new companies and independent content creators on the platform, and will allow them to incorporate ads in their videos on Facebook.
Videos are a significant tool for entities that want to disseminate their content widely, generate engagement and maintain a connection with the audience.
Now, those same entities will be able to monetize the videos they upload and grow in the long run.
In fact, revenues from in-stream ads increased by 55% in 2020 compared to 2019, and now the service will also be available in Israel.
With the new tool, you can combine ads and make money from any video that is more than one minute long.
Initially, the option will only be available for new or existing VOD videos on the page and later the option will also be expanded to live video on Facebook that meets the criteria.

The ads that will be integrated within the video will be selected by Facebook's auction system and will be submitted dynamically and tailored to each viewer.
At the same time, content creators will be able to tag advertisers or types of ads by domain to prevent their integration within the videos.
Content creators and entities will be able to choose the automatic ad placement option so that the system will find the most recommended ad placement times within the video, or manually select it themselves.
The ads will appear during or immediately after the videos;
It will also be possible to incorporate advertisements at the beginning of the videos, but these will only appear in content that people will actively search for on the platforms.
The more popular and sought after the content, the more money the content entities will be able to make from it.
The new monetization tool will be available to Israeli content creators and entities that meet the following criteria:
More than 10,000 followers on the Facebook page (not a personal profile)
There should be more than 60,000 minutes of video content per page during the last 60 days
There must be at least 5 active videos per page
The page and videos are required to comply with the policy applicable to monetization content
