An arson was also ignited on the highway between Fort-de-France and Le Lamentin, according to the radio.
No agreement found
However, the time should have come for de-escalation.
This Tuesday evening, the spokesperson for the intersyndical, Bertrand Cambusy, asked to lift the roadblocks after a meeting at the prefecture with representatives of the Territorial Collectivity of Martinique, according to Martinique La 1re.
"Given the intrusion of people who are not the inter-union near the roadblocks, it is decided to lift the roadblocks on Tuesday evening and bring our members together on Wednesday," he pleaded.

A call for calm which did not mean, however, the end of the strike against the health pass, since, still according to the local channel, no agreement has yet been found between the unions and the prefecture.
On Tuesday, the Fort-de-France prosecutor's office had also opened an investigation after law enforcement and firefighters were the target of gunfire on Monday evening, in a popular district of Fort-de-France. France, without any injuries.
