No more external apps:
WhatsApp yesterday (Wednesday) released a new update that will allow you to create a sticker independently.
The innovation is first available in the browser (Web) version of the messaging app - also in Israel, and starting next week also in the desktop application.
In fact, the new feature allows you to turn any existing image into a sticker that you can send to friends.
How do you create one?
Go to WhatsApp in the browser version and select a specific conversation window.
Click on the clip icon (to attach a file) - click on "Sticker", select the image that is relevant to you - and then the photo editor will open.
Now, in the editing interface you can burn (cut) the image accurately with the help of two different tools that you may have familiar from other stick editing apps.
At the end you can also scribble on the sticker, paste an emoji or add text.

As you know, the ability to create standalone stickers is no big deal, as both iOS and Android have a huge variety of third-party applications - better and less that do similar work.
However, WhatsApp's new interface makes the process much simpler, more secure and convenient (cutting with the mouse is significantly more accurate).
