Samsung is expected to announce in early January 2022 its new flagship series, the Galaxy S22, but it may also be the company's only flagship series from now on.
According to a new report on the Korean ET News website, the technology giant has confirmed that it does not intend to release a new model of the successful brand.
According to reports, the company is expected to stop production of the latest flagship devices in the series at the beginning of next year - Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra.
So far, production of the Galaxy Note 20 has continued because the device is still sold worldwide.
In 2021, according to reports, the series sold about 3.2 million devices, about a third of the number of Note devices sold in 2020.
According to reports from recent months, the successor to Samsung's Note brand is expected to be the Galaxy S22 Ultra, which will be announced in January and will come with the pen niche in the body of the device alongside a mirror that maintains the design line associated with the series.

Also, judging by the models from Samsung's folding handsets announced last August, the Galaxy Z, the decision has long been made, as they support the S-pen (Samsung's smart pen), and one of the features most identified with the Note series .
