About a month and a half after accidentally shooting to death photographer Alina Hutchins on the set of the movie Rust, actor Alec Baldwin breaks his silence and speaks for the first time in a first interview.

In an interview that will air in full tomorrow on the ABC network, Baldwin says: "I did not pull the trigger. I would never aim a gun at anyone and pull the trigger. Never."

When asked how live ammunition got to the set of the film in which he starred and which he also produced, he replied: "I have no idea. Someone put a real bullet into the gun, that bullet was not supposed to be there at all."

About Hutchins, who killed her, Baldwin said he remembered her as someone everyone who worked with her loved and appreciated. "He adds that this is the worst thing he has ever had:" I think back: what could I have done? " He said that the interview was very emotional, during which Baldwin even broke down and shed a tear.

In October, the New York Times revealed that the shooting of Alec Baldwin, who inadvertently killed the photographer and wounded director Joel Sousa in the shoulder on the set of the movie "Rust," preceded at least two previous cases of live shooting.

According to three former employees of the film, the two incidents occurred on the same day, Saturday, October 16, six days before it happened again and claimed Hutchins' life.

Employees complained about the poor safety in the ears of the person in charge of the issue, but there was no improvement.

The three are part of a group of workers who left the set in protest of safety conditions, just hours before Hutchins' death Friday morning, the Los Angeles Times and Deadline Hollywood reported.

Both sites quoted several crew members and production associates as saying that six or seven camera operators had left the "Rust" set several hours before the tragedy.

Both sites also reported that there was at least one malfunction earlier with the gun used as an accessory.
