Biaggi's love for speed and two wheels seems to have no limits. The Roman rider has set a new speed record on an electric motorcycle in Florida. At the Kennedy Space Center, the 50-year-old retouched his previous record (set by himself at 408 km / h) by running at 455.737 km / h, a precise average between the two passes, and reaching the peak of 470, 257 km / h. An exceptional record but not the only one given that, as reported by Biaggi himself, during these days riding the Voxan Wattman (lighter than the one used a year ago) recorded 21 world records, including the one on the kilometer, on the mile , on the quarter mile, with mounted fairing, without fairing, standing start and flying start.
The Roman driver worked closely with Voxan Motors to fine-tune the new prototype (which fitted the same electric motor used by the Mercedes team in the Formula E World Championship) and experienced emotions never experienced before, as told on social media.
