Twitter today (Thursday) released an official summary of the year 2021 on the platform, which also includes a summary regarding the leading trends among Twitter users in the country.
According to the social network, the most central issues this year in the country were the formation of the new government, the Olympics in Tokyo and also all the dealing with and around the corona.
After last year, the political debate of 2020 was led by Benjamin and Yair Netanyahu, the popular tweet of the year, which received the most likes was that of Yair Lapid, and carried two words: "I got it."
Second place went to Justice Minister Gideon Saar, who rejected Netanyahu's proposal for rotation and wrote: "A warm recommendation for the coming days: Ignore spins."
