The "Bridgerton" series produced by Shonda Reims (Netflix)
Each time, as the weather outside darkens and the rain hits the window, a kind of covert duel is born.
The colder and grayer it is, the deeper we dig in the duvet, indulge in a little more soup or invest a little more in the market.
The upside will be softer and more comforting than usual and so will our TV choices.
Because in this duel, just another casual comfort will not suffice.

Bridgerton
Until the hurricane game of "The Squid Game" arrived, Shonda Reims' periodic soap opera was the biggest hit of the year on Netflix, and rightly so.
Against the backdrop of the high society of 18th-century England, the courtship season brings the girls who have come to an end into a chain of betrayals, conspiracies and intrigues - centered on the prestigious Bridgerton family.
Beyond the bourgeois fun a-la "Downton Mansion" she brings with her, "Bridgerton" is far bolder than her - both in her screenwriting choices and her preoccupation with sexuality.
Add to that all the impressive production values, perfect soundtrack and great casting - and you got a win in his name.
Season 2 is expected to come out soon, so if you missed the original hype - this is a perfect opportunity.

Only Murders in the Building
One of the delightful surprises of the past year came from the Hollow chain (and in the first part of 2022 is expected to arrive in Israel officially and legally with Disney Plus).
After we have all become addicted to real crime podcasts at one point or another, "Only Murder in a Building" takes the experience and turns it into a kind of parody at the same time, as well as a real crime case in itself, taking place entirely in a fancy apartment building.
Her protagonists - two aging men whose heyday is far behind them (Martin Short and Steve Martin) and a reclusive young woman with a mysterious past (Selena Gomez) - are her magic secret.
As intriguing and evolving as the mystery at the center of the series, it is their stories and the bizarre relationship built between them that make it a real celebration.
These days, "Only Murders in the Building" stars at the top of this year's charts of leading TV critics, and you may well do so in our parade here at Walla!

Derry Girls
The funniest adolescence series in the area comes from Ireland, and after picking up a huge variety of titles in the United Kingdom, it finally landed on Netflix as well.
The name of the series is derived from the abbreviation of the name of the city (Londonderry) where its four heroines live.
The days are the days before the "Good Friday" agreements that brought an end to a brutal bloody conflict, and precisely in this reality of tension and uncertainty - "Deri girls" find all the beauty, challenges and especially the laugh-out-loud parts of adolescence, all sitting on brilliant insights.
The murderous pace of the jokes combined with the perfect casting and distinct character of each of the gang's girls, makes it one of the best comedies of the last decade.
And all of these are wrapped in a perfect and addictive nineties soundtrack.
And as befits British series, the episodes are short and light and will pass before you even feel it.
Too bad the third season will be the last, but it's better to love and lose and go.

Fleabag
It's been a long time since Phoebe Waller Bridge's ingenious work became a thing of the past, and it still seems unfamiliar to the general public like other talk shows.
Bridge not only created the series but also stars in it in the lead role, as a young, wild and lost woman trying to run her life in London amid a tragedy she has experienced in the past.
Her over-collaborative style, expressed in breaking the fourth wall, produces an extraordinary experience that is at once as funny as very few things we have seen, and also heartbreaking and unsettling.
Bridge planned that the first season of the series would also be the only one, but then he flashed an equally brilliant idea in it and brought about an even more exemplary second season than the one that preceded it.
If you have not yet got to watch it, this storm is a great opportunity to complete and fall in love with yourself, and if you did?
It seems like a perfect excuse to go back and remember how perfect she is.

Successors
On the face of it, the fine black comedy of the HBO network, does not fit in with the rest of the series on the list.
Each of its episodes is about an hour long, it takes quite a few episodes to really get started in the first season, and it is as vicious and cunning as very few things seen on the small screen.
But as it progresses, a vast fan of intrigue, conspiracy and power struggles opens up before us within the millennium of the upper millennium.
And the more we get to know them, the more despicable they may be, its heroes grow on us over time.
And most importantly, the brilliant writing behind it will leave you stunned time and time again, with a variety of twists and script choices that have created huge waves on social media.
Not for nothing was she the big winner at the last Emmy ceremony, not for nothing is she also today considered the best series on TV.
