Majority for contact restrictions
7.18 a.m.:
Two thirds of Germans rate the planned contact restrictions, which will also apply to vaccinated and convalescent people after Christmas, as positive.
Almost half of the respondents even see them as very positive, as a survey by the opinion research institute Civey for the "Augsburger Allgemeine" shows.
On the other hand, 27 percent of those surveyed criticized the Corona resolutions, the rest are undecided.
The approval rate is particularly high (80 percent) among the over-65s.
The federal government and the federal states have agreed that even vaccinated persons will only be allowed to meet up to ten people from December 28th at the latest.
If there is an unvaccinated person among them, a household may only meet with two people from another household.
