Gadgets are life. Especially if they are ones that no one really needs - and let's admit that most of them really do not need, and the less they need them - that way they are more cool and pampering. I am addicted. I even have this ridiculous mixer that also makes soups. Love all the gadgets from all fields, and sporting gadgets is generally fun. It may be that the love of gadgets is related, ironic to our need in society - after all, you never feel that way, because there is always someone who tells you things about the subject that interests you the most - you yourself.

When it comes to sports, performance and functions, we all also like credentials and references, and there is something that warms the heart with information like how many steps you did in one day, and even in the unnecessary feedback of your night’s sleep. It's true that you can also get up in the morning and feel if you slept well or not like in ancient times, but is it fun? Acknowledge that there is something very satisfying in the fact that your phone sends you a push with a compliment like "what a beauty of sleep you knocked, you champion, blackmailer on you".

The technology - in the shoe

What luck that we live in a world where everything connects to the phone!

Everything!

Even running shoes, it turns out.

For example, the UA HOVR Mega 2 Clone from Under Armor.

They put a sensor in her heel, it attaches to the app and it measures the training performance.

Beyond metrics you can get tips while training, save running tracks, and calculate how to improve performance based on the same data.

For those who are particularly careful, there is also an option to connect a nutrition app and follow these metrics as well.

Beyond that, the shoe itself is excellent - very, very comfortable, and incorporates foot-fit technology - great for people like me who sometimes start to suffer from the shoes in the middle of a workout.

The shoe wraps around the foot and holds the ankle in an amazing way, it is lightweight, and it also looks not bad at all.

This is not a fashion accessory, but it is entirely possible to go with it on a daily basis and not just train with it.

By and large the experience with the shoe was pleasant, because as mentioned the shoe is good. Tell you I used the app? So that's it, less so. Like, nice that the option exists, but after a few times the enthusiasm has gone down - it turns out that with all the love for gadgets, I do not really have the strength to reconnect my shoes to WIFI every time.

Price 649 shekels - equal to those who do not have the strength to wear smartwatches.

I personally prefer a smartwatch, which is why I hang out with Apple's unnecessary watch. It's fun, and I use it a lot, for training, for cycling, for swimming (it's a pool writer, cute) and it can also be used to count such and other health steps and metrics. The problem with it is that it is murder expensive, its battery time is very bad, its straps are ugly (and murder expensive), and the display is a bit confusing and complicated. Benefits like cell phone connection and phone control, make it useful, what's more the latest update has darkened the dark enough to detect on my own when I start training, which has freed me from having to remember to set the clock before training.

On the other hand, if someone is interested in the same thing in terms of use only less beautiful and much cheaper, the Pit Beat gives a real fight, and is much less arrogant - if the Dark Watch is a talent that needs to be petted all day, the Pit Beat is a workhorse that does not require much Maintains and does everything necessary - counts steps, measures distances, remembers routes, keeps track of sleep, tells you how many calories you burned, how many staircases, and also gives you compliments if you have met your goals.

It's a bit of a shame that Pete Beat does not recognize alone when I get on the bike and start riding, but on the other hand he works all day, counts every movement, without having to ask him, he also counts pools, although his display is not very available while locking water, so more difficult Check with water when the mile is over.

Other than that its display is simpler, the digits of the hour are conspicuous, and need to be charged only once every three days.

Price NIS 699 - a third of an Apple watch, and a great purchase for people who need a sports watch and not a show watch.

And if you are into swimming - it's great - it's one of the most fun, strengthening, flexible, relaxing activities - it has all the possible benefits. But it's boring to die. What can help? Music - that is, headphones that you can swim with. Sounds good, right? In theory. It turns out that in practice it is very complicated to get swimming heads that work well. I tried JBL's Endurance Dive this time, a company I know well and trust, and without offending - this time they failed, and I'm really gentle.

Let's start with the fact that since Bluetooth does not catch while swimming, the headphones have a built-in MP3 player. You have to connect them to a computer, like in the nineties, to download music. Some issues - first of all, for two decades now there has been no eMule, and no one downloads music to the computer - all on Spotify, which wisely blocked the option to download a playlist. Second thing every time I plugged the headphones into my computer it crashed. I despaired, and asked a friend to take care of it for me. When the headphones came back to me with a playlist I went to the pool. Outside I made sure they were on MP3 mode, turned on the music and started training. After half a minute the music turned off. I did not understand why. I started trying to turn it back on using the right side of the headset which is basically a touchpad (no buttons, probably because of possible water intrusion) but God help how hard it is to pinpoint the number of clicks or swipes needed for each action. I went back and forth between the situations, turned on, turned off, beeped, drove me crazy, went into a pause, what did not happen? The music did not return to play.

It turns out that when entering the water, the oases are supposed to be on player mode, but on pause - and only in the water should they be turned on.

If you turn off the water lock and the music outside, when you enter the water it stops.

On the other hand, when the lock is activated, the touch pad does not respond and the music does not turn on.

And if it sounds complicated it's because it's fucking complicated!

Long Story Short (you really do not want to know all the annoying details) All in all just one good thing I have to say about this product - outside it works great.

Cool headphones.

The audio quality is good, and they are very convenient for sports activities.

As a swimming headset, it's just a terrible product.

So bad I did not even try it a second time - after a quarter of an hour I was so frustrated that I just wanted to step on them with Ender Armor shoes.

But one thing can be said to the credit of the experience - it was a swimming workout that I really was not bored with.

Price: 499 NIS. Unnecessary.
