"As early as yesterday, the work was removed so that any temporary restraining order against its removal has no practical significance until a different decision.

Advocate Dan Yakir, the legal advisor of the Association for Civil Rights, welcomed the court's decision: "We hope that in the urgent hearing scheduled for the next day, an unequivocal message will be sent to mayors and all elected officials that any political intervention in artistic content is improper."
