This is how political correspondent Yanir Kuzin opened his monologue on the Knesset channel. It is quite rare to see a journalist developed a report on things that do not. Equally he could tell that Santa Claus does not really exist, the tooth fairy does not really leave children cash under the pillow and Galit Distel Atbrian did not win the Sapphire Prize for Literature. Everything is true, but it's not really news either.

Sometimes it looks like battles in windmills, and sometimes it turns into a particularly silly sketch, one that even the "chamber quintet" would have been buzzing with unreliability.
This happened yesterday in the "Lunch Parliament" of the Knesset channel, when Gadi Yabarkan came to the studio and insisted that in Austria there are "concentration camps for those who are not resilient."
Political commentator Mazal Mualem still tried to help him get out of the pit he had dug for himself, but he insisted that in Austria "people come and take people out of the house" - and finally, as Punch Line, he asked Cousin and Muelem "Please, do not spread Pike News".

On social media, a fascinating discussion has begun on the question of whether Yabarkan is an idiot or just doing himself. That's probably true. But it does not matter at all whether Gadi Yabarkan is weak-minded as he was portrayed yesterday in a variety of statements, or whether he was just pretending to be a full-fledged butler.
A person who "only" impersonates a Holocaust denier for all intents and purposes is no less enthralling foolish as someone who does it organically, out of pure human stupidity.
It is also important to note that just as Itamar Ben Gvir's behavior does not represent all the kippah wearers, and Benjamin Netanyahu's conduct does not attest to the character of all Ashkenazis - so one should not deduce from Yabarkan's outrageous remarks towards the Ethiopian community.
To say that "Gadi Yabarkan is a shame to the Ethiopian community" or to claim that "Ethiopians should be ashamed that Yabarkan represents them," as many did last night on social media, including journalists, is racism in its most naive form.
