6 Great but Underrated PC Games

Marketing in games decides how projects will be sold and how many users will play them. The advertising campaign is the basis by which any idea can be promoted. Because of that, average games like FIFA or CoD, which sell hundreds of millions of copies, haven't brought anything new for at least 5 years. While underrated games that emphasize story and gameplay don't get the attention they deserve.

This project emphasizes gameplay. A stealth action game about a spy unit agent: he completes missions, interacts with NPCs, and reveals the story through dialogue.

And for good reason, the gameplay is not as monotonous as it may seem. The spatial puzzles are done on a level, and the graphics were a breakthrough for those years.

Psychonauts

The game was only able to make up for its sales after a certain amount of time. The success was affected by cold reviews from critics and bugs. Then there was the disappointment of players who, despite warnings, spent their money. It wasn't until years later that a community emerged that loved the game. But, as it turned out, it was too late.

Beyond Good & Evil

An action-adventure game that didn't become popular on its release date. And then it didn't. And not even a few years later. Only a decade later users paid attention to this game. But the developers from this is not easier. Classic plot that strikes with depth. The mechanics are not surprising, but they are set to the point. As a result, a model representative of the genre, to which the attention only appeared before the release of the second part.

New mechanics aren't always worth it. Especially in 2008, when the gamers have not yet played something familiar and familiar. Remember Me is a game about that. A memory hunter that can modify memories. It sounds intriguing. Unfortunately, only now. At the time of release, the game was not receiving public attention. Many projects came out that year that then became benchmarks in their genre. And the game got lost on the shelves, among the more successful, from a marketing point of view, projects.
