Paleontologists from the Natural History Museum in London identified dinosaur footprints from more than 200 million years ago, off the coast of Wales, UK. They appear to have been formed from the feet of sauropods, long-tailed herbivores that have reached a length of more than 30 meters, associated with the Triassic period.
"We know Szaorofodim lived in Britain at that time, because the bones Camelot, which is an ancient breed of Zaorofodim, previously found in Somerset," said Dr. Susan Midmnt, paleontology was involved in the study, in a statement that announced the findings.
Paleontologist Amateur Send pictures of the footprints have been In 2020, however, Maidman and a research fellow, Professor Paul Barrett, were skeptical at first. We thought there was something here that was worth checking out. "

"Mademant and Barrett went to visit the site to study the markings found on the beach," the spacing between the imprints was consistent in a way that suggests an animal was walking. We also saw hoop marks indicating upward movement of mud being pushed upwards. Barrett in a statement issued by the museum.
Findings like this help develop research and expand existing knowledge in the field, "Such types of signs are not very common, so we believe it is an interesting addition to our knowledge of life in the Triassic period in Britain ... everything we find from the period adds to the picture of what happened at that time". Thus Barrett in a statement made, that it was agreed that the footprints would remain on the beach until the water played them.
