He is still in office.

And the atmosphere at the police station is heavy to say the least.

A senior official responsible for the operational management of the police officers of Seine-Saint-Denis risks an 18-month suspension, nine of which are closed, in the context of a case of sexual harassment at his workplace.

It is at least, according to our information, the sentence that has just called for the disciplinary council.

The General Inspectorate of the National Police, in charge of the investigation, had however initially proposed a much more lenient sanction: three days of temporary exclusion and a management internship. The final decision will be taken by the Interior Ministry, said a police source.

The affair, revealed by the Chained Duck, goes back two years.

A policewoman and a police attaché make a report to the "Signal-Discri" listening cell, a platform created in 2017 so that agents can denounce acts of discrimination and harassment of which they are themselves victims .

The two women evoke “inappropriate gestures” on the part of their superior.

The person concerned is not a police officer but an official of the Ministry of the Interior.

Regardless, the head of the territorial directorate at the time demanded a report.

An investigation is open.

The person concerned only acknowledges having "yielded to the repeated advances" of an official

On the penal level, it gives nothing.

The prosecution closes the case, considering the facts insufficiently characterized.

But at the administrative level, we point to the "unworthy behavior" of the person concerned.

According to our colleagues who quote the report, he was notably accused of "having sex at his workplace with one of his subordinates" and of having "asked an agent, during a professional interview, what were his most hidden fantasies ”.

The senior official denied these accusations.

No unworthy behavior;

he would have barely "given in to the repeated advances" of an official by having sex with her in a reprographic room.
