A boost in the Jubillar affair?
New searches were launched on Monday in Cagnac-les-Mines, the village of Tarn where Delphine Jubillar lived until her disappearance in December 2020, learned Le Parisien, confirming information from BFMTV and AFP.
Gendarmes as well as soldiers from the Specialized Operational Excavations (FOS), an army unit, were mobilized near a farm that burned down a few months ago, according to a source close to the investigation.
The police still hope to find the body of the missing nurse, believing that it will provide them with decisive elements to elucidate the case.
Cédric Jubillar, the nurse's husband, was indicted for murder and imprisoned on June 18.
He claims to be innocent, multiplies the requests for release.
The last request was rejected last Friday by the investigating chamber of the Toulouse Court of Appeal.
