The Meta (formerly Facebook) smartwatch, which is expected to be launched during 2022, is expected to incorporate an interesting upgrade that we have not yet known.
According to a report on the LetsGoDigital website, which is based on technology giant's patent documents, the watch is expected to come with a removable camera and interchangeable lenses.
According to published documents, the company is examining two possible designs: a square clock with rounded corners, similar to Apple's smartwatch, with the second version featuring the classic and familiar look with a round screen.
Also, the watch will incorporate a front camera that is inside a recess - similar to what we know from the world of smartphones.

However, there is an unusual detail here: the non-meta watch is expected to combine three different lenses - wide angle, telephoto and zoom, and to replace a lens you will have to rotate the screen (in the round version), or disconnect it - and reassemble (in the square version).
It sounds complicated, but in practice it seems to be an interesting solution.

As you may recall, Facebook has already entered the world of hardware with standalone VR glasses - the Oculus Quest, alongside the Portal series - home video chats that rely on voice activation and screens.
In addition, the company recently launched smart glasses - and has taken the first step in the world of wearable products.
